Simon Moshapo Jnr is a South African visual artist whose practice spans sculpture, painting, printmaking, and drawing. Born in Elim, Limpopo, in 1991 and raised in Indermark, he graduated with a National Diploma in Fine Art from Tshwane University of Technology in 2015.

Now working full-time from August House in Johannesburg, Moshapo continues to develop a multidisciplinary body of work that explores form, abstraction, and the interplay between material and meaning. The Mirror of Noise reflects this evolving practice, layering acrylic on canvas to investigate the tensions between silence, sound, and perception.
